The Forsyte Saga actress Gina McKee has announced her support for North East Culture Partnership's Case for Culture campaign, which aims to increase arts engagement and investment in the north east.

The proposal will play an important part in continuing to grow the cultural sector in the region, and sets out the key benefits of additional investment into culture, defining key aspirations and goals for the next 15 years.
